1 Laem Ta Not - Hin Ngam BeachThis is the location of the Mu Ko Lanta National Park Headquarters and the Lighthouse which is an ideal spot to take in the view.2 Ao Khlong DaThis is a wide sloping beach ideal for sunbathing and water sports with a wide range of accommodations.3 Namtok Klong Chak - Hat Khlong ChakThe energetic will appreciate the reward after an hour and a half trek to this 20-meter high Namtok (waterfall) set in a tropical forest. The water source is a cool clear stream that flows to the sea at Hat Khlong Chak. Here you will find secluded resorts and excursion trips to Rok Island.4 Hat Khlong NinNo coconut groves here. Instead you'll find pine trees lining the coastline of this Hat (beach).5 Tham Khao Mai KaeoThis Tham (cave) is actually a labyrinth of many smaller caves including Tham Kha On, Tham Mangkon and Tham Badan. A fun place to climb over rocks, go through narrow alleys, and climb wooden ladders.6 Ao Ba KantiangA crescent shaped Ao (bay) with shallow water. Ideal for families with small children. From here you can walk to Laem Ta Not, a good spot for sunsets.7 Ko NgaiThis Ko (island) is only 20 minutes from Ko Lanta by speed boat. Clean white beach, clear water and coral reefs.8 Ko Rok NokUneveloped except for the National Park Protection Office. Pristine beaches lined with cork trees. There is camping on the central plateau. You'll need to bring your own food, or order from the National Park Office in advance.9 Ko Rok NaiThis island has a touch of history as King Chulalongkorn had a "Siamese Milestone" erected on the south of the island marking Thai territory. This is a great place for diving and snorkeling with coral reefs surrounding the island. During and just after the wet season, there is a spectacular vertical waterfall over the cliffs and into the Andaman Sea.10 Ao Man SaiAo Man Sai bay is one of the most appealing beaches on Ko Rok Nok island. There are mangrove and evergreen forests including a giant banyan tree with its draping root curtain which give this location its name.
