One of the most interesting things about Malaysia is the diversity of its population, which is made up of: Nyonya, Chinese, Eurasian, Indian Muslim, Siamese, European, Burmese, Malay, Punjabi, Indian, Arab, and Japanese.
It is not exactly a melting pot the way America is. Malaysians don’t ‘melt’ into sameness. Each group maintains it's distinct cultural uniqueness such as their traditional dress, food, temples, language, etc. It makes for a fascinating mix of people, architecture, culture, and an intriguing nightlife.
